What are the requirements to get the rebate?

You need to register for the WePayYou.net Home Buyer Rebate Program. You need to be purchasing a New Construction Home in New Jersey. In addition, the broker (HSH) and purchaser must enter in to an exclusive buyer agency agreement with rebate provisions.

 

Will I be able to call and speak with a person if I have any questions?

Always! You will never get a computer when you call WePayYou.net. We understand the home buying process is a very personal process and you will be paired up with one of our licensed real estate salespersons who will answer your questions and will work with you through the whole purchase process.

 

Do I have to use recommended service providers supplied by WePayYou.net?

No, however our team of real estate service providers has experience with WePayYou.net's unique Home Buyer Rebate Program.

 

Do I have to provide any paperwork to the agent at the model home to show I am working with WePayYou.net (HSH)?

Yes. In your welcome packet you will sign a buyer’s agency agreement to show that you are working with a licensed real estate agent from Home Sweet Home Enterprises, LLC. Using the WePayYou.net program. This agreement allows us to offer you the rebate at closing.

 

What is the size of the rebate?

The rebate size is dependent upon the purchase price of your home and will therefore vary in every home transaction. As an example, in the purchase of a $500,000 new construction home with a buyer’s agent commission of 2.5% your rebate would be $3,125.

 

How do I get my rebate?

Your rebate is provided in the form of a check presented to you at closing.

 

Can I use the commission rebate towards my closing costs?

Generally no, many times lenders will not allow the commission rebate to be used towards closing costs.

 

Can I still sign an agreement with WePayYou.net to get my home buyers rebate if I already signed a buyers agreement with another realtor?

No. We must place you with an agent who assists you through the entire home buying process in order to receive a rebate from WePayYou.net and work within the legal guidelines of the industry.

 

What kind of tax liability comes with getting paid?

Like every income, your rebate is taxable. Please refer to your account for additional information.
