The WePayYou.net idea was born on a cold February afternoon when two long time friends Todd and Jen were eating burritos at their favorite lunch spot in New Jersey. They were talking about all the new construction going on and how much it differs from your normal buying process. Jen says, "I came across a way for new construction home buyers to get rebate at closing." He wasn't sure if it was the margarita or Jen's great idea, but Todd was intrigued. With a little more conversation they knew they would need help. They reached out to two other Realtors, who happen to be their close family members, and Home Sweet Home was created.

Taryn LoCascio is one of the new home specialists with Home Sweet Home Enterprises. Prior to her employment at HSH enterprises, Taryn taught middle school special education for seven years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and a Master’s degree in Special Education.


Taryn has always had a passion for real estate. Her family had been in construction business and she loved going on job sites with her dad as a child. In 2005 her and her husband Mike decided to buy their first home. They worked with a realtor who carted them around to many houses telling them why each would work for them. Taryn and Mike could not see themselves in any of those houses. They couldn't get past wallpaper in some or the outdated kitchens and bathrooms in others. They decided a new construction home was perfect for them. Taryn researched new construction developments in the area and found the perfect one. Taryn and Mike went through the exciting process of picking cabinets, countertops, lighting fixtures, and even decided to add a bonus room over the garage. After countless trips to the new home design center Taryn realized that was her true passion. There was such an excitement over building their own house rather than just looking at houses already built for someone else. They were able to visit the house weekly to see the progress and it was so awesome to see their dream coming to life. She realized that the process was so personal that her realtor basically stepped aside once the original paperwork was completed that day at the model home. She thought how awesome if she actually got some sort of reimbursement for the time and effort she put in to the new home buying process.


Well she filed that away in her memory and started a family. In 2010 she received her real estate license and became employed with Century 21 real estate brokers. She also starting working for a title agency to learn the ins and outs of the behind the scenes of real estate, and learn the part that actually gets a buyer to the closing table. In 2015 she was approached by Jennifer Ellis a lifetime friend, with the thoughts on Home Sweet Home Enterprises and knew it would fulfill all of her real estate desires. Taryn now splits her time between being one of the new home construction specialists for HSH enterprises and carting Alex 9, to wrestling, lacrosse, and guitar practice, and Juliana 6, to dance, art, and singing lessons.

The year was 2001…


George was director of fleet maintenance for a large trucking company and I was working as an interior design assistant for a custom carpet company.  I was speaking with a co worker about real estate; I had a light bulb moment that real estate would be a great fit for me.


George decided to join me and we both went to real estate school in the evenings after work. As we were planning our May 2002 wedding, we went to real estate school in Morris Plains and learned about how many square feet an acre was and how interest rates worked.


We both passed the tests, had our fingerprints and background check done and we were on our way to being real estate agents.


We saw the market go up and then the market go way down. We added Jackson Ellis to the Ellis team and continue to learn about what is next is the real estate market.


It is now 2016 and we have our own brokerage Home Sweet Home Enterprises. With our years of real life real estate experience the great professionals we have met along the way, as well as continuing education, we can successfully help you get to the closing table.
